Metal Lofted buildings come with 8 feet of free loft space. The  interior wall height is 6 feet 7 inches with a 3 feet gambrel roof for an interior height of 9 feet. The interior wall studs are 36 inches on center (instead of the 16-24 inches on center like the wood Lofted barn options). The underbelly of the metal roof is visible from inside, as opposed to the wood buildings which have a layer of plywood then the metal roof. Doors and windows cannot be placed on the side walls because of the distance between wall studs. This Metal Lofted barn is a great price for basic storage. However,  if you want closer wall studs, plywood under the metal roof, AND metal siding,  then go with a wood Lofted barn and opt for the free upgrade to vertical metal siding. Remember, our design team is at your disposal FREE OF CHARGE!
